"கர்னன்" படத்தில் இடம் பெறும் இப் பாடல் என்னை சிறிது குழப்பத்தில் ஆழ்தியது.
பாடல் : "உள்ளத்தில் நல்ல உள்ளம் உறங்காதென்பது வல்லவன் வகுத்ததடா கர்னா"
குழப்பம் : கண்ணன் கீதை போதித்த இடம், குரு¦க்ஷத்ரம். கீதயில் கண்னன் கூறுவது, ஆத்மா தன் காமப் பலனும் கருமப் பலனும் நீங்கி புனிதம் பெற்று இறை சேர்கிரது. ஆக பலன் எதிர் பாராக் கருமாக்கள் புனிதம் அடைந்து புவி பிரிகிரது.
கர்னன் அத்தகய பலன் எதிர் பாரா கர்மணி. "நல்ல உள்ளம்" என்ற அடைமொழி பொருத்தம். ஆனால் அத்தகய உள்ளம் அல்லவா உறங்கும்? அதை உறங்கா உள்ளம் எண்று குறிப்பிடுவது சரியா?
இன்ங்கு கவிஞர் குரிப்பிட நினைத்தது உள்ளத்தயா அல்லது உடலயா?
இதுப் பிழயா அல்லது என் அறியாமயா?

personally I agree with you, but my understanding of gita is different. adhunala dhan indha kuzhappam. my understanding of Gita is, like what I said, the soul lingers in the earth till its karma and kama is satiated once it gets fullfilled it unifies with the paramAthma. aram seyyum ullathukku karma palan kidayadhu, adhe pOl oruavan aram seigiran endral avan kama(desire) ullavanaga irukka mudiyadhu.

A small thot on karma.
Seibavan irukum varai seyalin palan anubvika vendiyathu than. "Naan" ennum ennam azhindhu seyalgal nigazhum podhe karma vinai murigirdhu. So only vinai is called "iru vinai". Nal vinai, thee vinai.
I too was not understanding the lyrics. Later I made up the explanation as told in my previous comment. Anyways nice thot sujan.

I actually agree with PB's initial comment. In this song, I don't think they are talking about the soul. I believe it is referring to the heart. Karnan-ukku kaigal sivappai irukkumaam. Koduthu, koduthu sivandhu vittanavaam!
I think, in the end Krishna has to take away his punya as alms before Karna can die.
Anyways, a small thought on the Gita. Only a soul that has not done any punya or papam reaches the ultimate God. If a soul has punya vasanai, it stays in heaven till the punya karma expires and comes back again to earth.

naan serious a sonnen..because soul, "Athma" in "nithyam". Jeeva is Anithya. Which is explained using Pambu-Kayiru analogy. The usage of "soul" was not correct inga.
